Howdy howdy. I'm Spencer.I design products, and I build them too.And I try to have a little fun while doing it.
I'm a product designer at Handoff in Austin. My background is visual design and human factors, and these days I take a lot of what I design from first sketch to shipped code, on the web and in native iOS.
Career
Sep. 2025 – Current
I design features and build them, end to end. I took our iOS widgets, Live Activities and image generation from first sketch to production, alongside product work across the web app.
Jul. 2021 – Sep. 2025
I worked on internal tooling, consumer-facing tools, web apps, and mobile apps, and took a new growth product from zero to one through research, design, prototyping, and cross-functional collaboration.
Apr. 2019 – Jul. 2021
On the AI+Data Hub I was one of three designers on a small team focused on design systems and operations. On Multifamily Solutions I was the sole designer on a new team: I led research, design and prototyping, and designed and built the group's marketing site.
Oct. 2016 – Apr. 2019
On 7-Eleven Rewards, a partner and I owned the design and experience of the rewards apps (iOS and Android) and the website. For Torchy's Tacos, I helped win the pitch and led the project through to completion.
